nerve connection
[aka Nervenanhang] A nerve connection is established by god in order to examine the soul of a person, create inspirations or offer insights about the life after death. Nerve connections are established while a person is sleeping. According to Daniel Paul Schreber, a nerve connection poses a potential risk to god which is why it is seldom conducted on the same person repeatedly. The risk results from the gravitation generated by human nerves in a state of arousal. This gravitation is not a physical, but a psychological phenomenon as god's nerves (rays) sometimes develop a strong curiosity for the nerves of the person subjected to the nerve connection. If the gravitation proves too strong, god is no longer able to revoke the nerve connection. |
